Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Born in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. Her name can also be stylized in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 from Decca Records. It has been praised by the music press and bloggers. She's recorded a variety of well-known cover songs, including Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that are widely loved. Katy Perry shared a tweet where Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. Enjoy the celebration of this special event. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memories involve finding a tiny piano in her basement and bewildered by the sound it created. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. He urged her not to do music just for pleasure or for the sake of growth but rather, she must explore it. She began to write writing her own songs. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork as her main influences. After her mom said that her songs can not only aid in her efforts to achieve fame but also make others see their significance in the world and realize the possibilities for her songs and her music, she was inspired to start playing in front of the public. The piano was her first instrument when she was six years old and started writing music at age nine. The family members didn't know about her music until she reached 14. Aurora's fame was not the goal of her. Aurora claims she loves creating songs. She says that music is her preferred method of feeling something.
